ABOUT EMELY EDWARDS
BIOGRAPHY
I am a dual nationality photographer based in Bristol and Lyon, I’ve spent most of my life in the south of France living and working in a luxury hotel owned by my parents surrounded by picturesque views and fields.
Growing up, taking care of guests and the grounds of the hotel I was trained to have attention to detail and a lot of initiative to give the best experience for our guests.
My commercial work is largely in travel and fashion lifestyle imagery.
My personal practice is more aesthetically and conceptual driven. I enjoy working with a diverse client base not restricting myself to one genre and the different challenges that this engenders. In all work I take part in I put great attention to detail to obtain the best result.
I'm motivated by anything creative and to show the essence of whatever the subject matter is, my work focuses on textures, themes, framing and careful compositions, I always try to clean up in editing to make any images visually appealing.
